The Assets module is where you track your fixed assets and equipment one by one. Which asset is with whom, where it sits, what state it is in and what it is worth today. The whole life cycle, from the asset card to custody, counts, depreciation and disposal, is kept on the same record.
This module is not the same as a stock count. In stock you track product quantities. Here you track the identity, owner and value of individual assets.
Machine and equipment maintenance comes on the same license: work orders, preventive maintenance and mobile technicians are covered on the Maintenance Management page.
Mikro or Logo can keep the accounting records. EQLEM manages the asset and custody operation.
Who is it for?
Asset administrators run asset cards, tags, custody, counts and disposals.
Field and warehouse staff scan assets on mobile, record custody and location changes, and run counts.
Human resources see the custody left with a departing employee and follow its return.
Management and finance follow the asset dashboard, branch comparison, depreciation and net book value.
How it works
Asset cards and structure
You open a card for each asset. The card holds the tag, status, custody, location, warranty and count information. You set up the plant or building as a tree: site, area or line, machine. You give assets a criticality level. You import your existing asset list from Excel with a preview and confirmation step.
Custody and location
You assign an asset to a person or a location; every change stays in the history. You get a notification when custody is still held by an employee who has left. You are warned in advance when an asset's warranty is about to end.
Counts
You open a count round; the field team counts by scanning assets. A variance list is created. An asset not found in the count arrives as a notification. Permissions decide who approves the variance.
Depreciation and disposal
Depreciation is calculated for assets (straight-line and declining balance). You see net book value and a monthly depreciation schedule. You open a disposal document for a sale, scrapping, donation or loss; it is finalized with a second person's approval and can be reversed. Depreciation is calculated and reported; no accounting voucher is posted from this module.
Only authorized users see amount fields. For users without the permission, cost and value fields are hidden.
Dashboard and reports
The asset dashboard brings asset count, value, custody, warranty expiries and records that need attention onto one screen. Click a chart to drill down to the records behind it. Compare branches side by side. The Asset 360 screen shows an asset's full history, custody, maintenance and cost on one page.
Large reports export in the background. Report subscriptions share regular output with your team. Reporting explains the shared report rules.
Maintenance in the same module
The Assets license also opens machine and equipment maintenance. Fault reports, work orders, calendar or meter-based preventive maintenance, checklists, spare parts, downtime and maintenance cost are linked to the same asset card. The technician scans the machine's QR code and logs the work on a phone.

Short FAQ
Is this a stock count? No. Here you keep the card, custody and value of each individual asset. Product quantities are tracked under Inventory.
Does maintenance need a separate license? No. Maintenance opens with the Assets license. You decide who sees the maintenance screens through role permissions.
Does spare parts tracking in maintenance need a Stock license? No. The Assets license is enough. Spare parts lists, reservations, consumption and returns run inside maintenance.
Does depreciation post an accounting voucher? No. Depreciation and net book value are calculated and reported; the accounting entry stays in your existing system.
